Dordt College Men's Golf at GPAC #2

Battling the wind and cold, the Dordt College Defender men's golf team finished eighth in GPAC Qualifier #2 played at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska. The round, played in 50 degree temps and 30 mile per hour winds, inflated scores across the board with the average score hovering around 90 and team scores ballooning well over 300.
Dord's Jordan Janz shot an 84 which was tied for 14th on this day while Ryan Kamp brought home an 87 and was tied for 26th. Tyler Lyon shot a 93 and Mike Behnke a 95 with Blake Lubben's 98 not needed for the team score.
Dordt's 359 was eighth with Morningside shootin a 312 behind Cam Jacob's medalist round of 73. Sioux Falls had a 325 and Nebraska Wesleyan a 332 in the final round for most teams before they break until spring.
Dordt stands eighth overall in the four-round event with a 681. Janz stands 13th overall with a 161 with Jacobs leading with a 144. Standings for the conference crown at the midpoint look like this:
