Dordt College Men's Golf at Dordt Invite

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender golf team placed fourth at the first ever collegiate meet held at The Ridge golf course in Sioux Center, Iowa. Dordt carded a 304 and was ten strokes off the winning total posted by Dakota Wesleyan.

Lucas Dowden (University of Sioux Falls shot a 70 to win medalist honors while Dordt's Jorand Janz and Blake Lubben each had 73's and were tied for third. Chris Pritchard from Dakota Wesleyan recorded a 72 for second place and Sioux Falls was second in the team race with a total of 300.

The Ridge is a par-71 course and measured 7038 for the meet. Dordt's next meet will be GPAC Qualifier #1 at Orange City, Iowa on Thursday, September 17. Full results can be found at https://www.dordt.edu/cgi-bin/news/get_news.pl?id=3883
