Dordt College Men's Golf at Buena Vista Invite

(Storm Lake, Iowa) The Dordt College golf team finished fourth at the Buena Vista Invite played at Lake Creek Country Club near Storm Lake, Iowa. The Defenders shot a 312 as a team, finishing five strokes off the pace set by Dakota Wesleyan's team title of 307.

Dordt was led by Blake Lubben's (Freshman; Omaha, Nebraska) fifth place total of 75 and Jordan Janz (Junior; Aurora, Colorado got around in a 77 for ninth place. Ryan Kamp (Sophomore; Tinley Park, Illinois also finished under 80 with a 79 and was nineteenth overall.

Dakota Wesleyan's Tyler Evenson and Morningside's Brady Nurse were the medalists with a pair of 74's on the par 72, 6708 yard course.

Dordt travels to the Morningside Invite on Tuesday, September 8 and will host a meet The Ridge Golf Course in Sioux Center, Iowa on Thursday, September 10.
