Dordt College Men's Golf at Buena Vista Invite

(Storm Lake, Iowa) The Dordt College Golf team is in 9th place after day one of the Buena Vista Spring Invite in Storm Lake Iowa. Jared Rempel is tied for 7th place after shooting a 73 while Lance Dieleman and Collin Broekhuis carded a 75 and 79 respectively.

The Defenders are 19 strokes off the pace set by Wartburg's 290 and are just four stokes out of sixth place held by Dakota Wesleyan with a 305.

Brett Abbotts (Dakota Wesleyan) and Chris Reck (Wartburg) share the individual lead with a pair of 69 scores. Wartburg is the team leader after day one on the par 72-6708 course.

The teams will try to beat the weather on Saturday when they tee off at 8:00 a.m.
