Dordt College Men's Golf at Buena Vista Spring Invite

(Spencer, Iowa) The Dordt College Defenders are tied for tenth at the Buena Vista Invite after day one of play at Spencer. The two day event continues on Saturday at Storm Lake.

Dordt shot a 326 and is ten shots out of third. Jared Rempel recorded a 76 while Jason Kroese had an 82 and Brad Evenson an 83. Under less than ideal conditions Michael Behnke had an 85. Rempel's score is good for sixth so far.

Central dominated the first day with four of their golfers fighting for medalist honors with 73's and team score of 292.

Par on the course at Spencer is 72 and yardage is 6853. This is the final tuneup for the GPAC Championships on Monday and Tuesday, April 21 and 22.
