Dordt College Men's Golf at Morningside Invitational

(Sioux City, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender golf team placed sixth in the Morningside Mustang Invitational on Tuesday, September 18 at Whispering Creek Golf Club in Sioux City.

The Defenders were led by Collin Broekhuis's 76 with Michael Behnke and Jordan Janz shooting an 82 and 84 respectively while Lance Dieleman carded an 87 to complete the Dordt College scoring total of 329. The Defenders missed fourth place by one stroke with Doane and Northwestern both recording 328.

Morningside won the meet with a 303 and featured the medalist, Brandon Morehead, who shot a one under par 71.

Dordt will play in Orange City on September 28 in their next action.
