Dordt College Men's Golf at Buena Vista Invitational

(Storm Lake, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender golf team opened their 2007 season with a seventh place finish at the Buena Vista University Fall Invite in Storm Lake, Iowa. The Defenders were led by Jared Rempel, Collin Broekhuis and Matt Zwart with 80's on the par 72 course. The trio tied for 19th place.

Jordan Janz and Brian Eekhoff shot and 83 and 90 respectively for the Defenders on the 6.706 yard course. Dakota Wesleyan claimed the the team title with a 298 and were led by Chris Pritchard with a even par round of 72.

Dordt's next meet is Thursday, September 13th at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite in Lincoln, Nebraska.
