Dordt College Men's Golf at Briar Cliff Invite

(Sioux City, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender golf team placed fourth in teh Briar Cliff Men's Golf Invite on Monday, September 17 with a one day total of 305, missing thrid by one stroke and second by two. Morningside took team honors with a 299 in the event hosted at Green Valley Golf Course in Sioux City.

Dordt's Jared Rempel placed third with a 72 scoring 36 on the front nine and 36 on the back. Matt Zwart and Brad Evenson had a 76 and 77 respectively while Brian Eekhoff's total of 80 rounded out the Dordt College scoring.

Morningside's Andrew Martin took medalist honors with a 70 after shooting 33 on the front nine.

Dordt takes part in the Morningside Invite on Tuesday, September 18.
