Dordt College Football vs. Doane

November 5, 2011

(Crete, Nebraska) Doane College attacked from the start, using a hurry-up offense from the outset and beat the Dordt College Defenders 63-26 in Great Plains Athletic Conference football on Saturday, November 5 in Crete, Nebraska.

The Tigers scored on of their first seven possessions in building a 42-14 halftime lead.

The Defenders scored at the 10:14 mark of the second quarter on a Daniel Fennig one yard run that capped a ten play, 70 yard drive that made the score 28-7 at the time. Jeremiah Saffold answered back with a 90 yard kickoff return on the very next play to take any momentum the Defenders had away.

Dylan Doebler was the third Dordt quarterback to get the Defenders into the end zone with a nine yard pass to Van Grouw with 00:31 left to finish a 12 play, 80 yard drive.
