Dordt College Football vs. Sioux Falls

(Sioux Falls, South Dakota) The number one ranked Sioux Falls Cougars struck quickly in their win over the Dordt College Defenders Saturday afternoon in conference football and won a 58-0 decision.
The Cougars recovered a fumble and ran it back six yards for a touchdown on Dordt's first possession of the game hit for a 48 yard pass completion on their first play from scrimmage for a 14-0 lead just over two minutes into the game. The Cougars scored on drives of 80. 96, 64 and 25 in the second period and were up 41-0 at halftime.
In the second half the Cougars scored on punt return, a field goal and a 16 yard drive for the final fo 58-0.
Dordt's Aaron Floen ran for 52 yards on 15 carries while Josh Van Kempen 20 yards on the ground and 11 yards of receiving offfense on two catches. Garrett Milton and Justin Knot were 4-9 and 3-7 respectively on passes and threw for a combined 59 yards.
Matt Postmus led the Dordt defense with five solo and one assisted tackle. Sioux Falls outgained Dordt College 441-108 with Lorenzo Brown completing 5-9 passes for 199 yards and three scoring strikes.
Dordt will conclude their season on Saturday, November 14 at home against Dakota Wesleyan in a 1:00 kick off.
