(Lincoln, Nebraska (Pioneer Park; 3201 S. Coddington)) The Dordt College Defender men's cross country team finished ninth in the 23 team college division at the Woody Greeno Invite in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday, September 15.

Dordt totaled 309 points for ninth while Colorado School of Mines had 25 points to win the division.

Dordt was led by Ryan Tholen with a 27:14 for 43rd place and Tim Bierma ran a 27:35 for 59th. Nathan Jackson and Trent Kischer ran 27:36 and 27:57 respectively for 61st and 72nd and Chris Postma was right behind with a 27:59 for 74th. Derek Opp and Jake Byma were the sixth and seventh for Dordt with times of 28:11 and 28:28.

306 runners competed on the 8,000 meter course.

Dordt will next run at the Roy Griak Invite on Saturday, September 29.
