Dordt College will run at the Dakota State Invite on Saturday, September 29 in Madison, South Dakota.

The Dordt College Defender women's and men's cross country teams ran at the Midwest Collegiate Cross Country Invitational hosted by Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday, September 15. The Defender men placed 14th out of 20 teams and the women's team placed 12th out of 21 squads.

The women were led by Jen Kempers who placed 15th in terms of scoring with a time of 18:45. Steph Helmus was in the 58th scoring spot with a time of 19:47 and Tami Wieringa was 71st in a time of 20:01.

The Defender men were led by Joel De Haan's 57th spot in terms of scoring with a time of 27:03 over the 8,000 meter race. Josiah Luttjeboer was 78th and Jathan Robinson 83rd in times of 27:47 and 27:59 respectively.

263 runners competed in the men's race while 255 were in the women's competition. Place listings for the top-seven Dordt College were their scoring positions while the rest of the places listed are overall placings.

Dordt College runs at Dakota State in Madison, South Dakota on September 29 in their second to last tuneup before the GPAC championships.
