(Olathe, Kansas) The Dordt College Lady Defender basketball team managed a split of their games during their season opening weekend. The Lady Defenders held a 28-26 halftime advantage and were able to hold off a pressuring Oklahoma Wesleyan team for the three-point win.
The Lady Defenders were paced by Shawna Flikkema's 15 points while Kathryn Ferrie had 14 points and nine rebounds.
