(Olathe, Kansas) The Dordt College Lady Defender basketball team was defeated today in their season opener 84-52. The Lady Defenders trailed at halftime 37-22. Dordt College was led by Kathryin Ferrie's 20 points while Kara Karlsgodt registered 11 points and ten rebounds. Nicki De Blaey, fresh off the soccer season, came off the bench to score seven points and grab three rebounds.
Taylor White led Sterling with 19 points and eight rebounds.
