Dordt College Women's Basketball vs. Dakota Wesleyan

(Sioux Center, Iowa) Dordt College lost a Great Plains Athletic Conference basketball game Thursday night to Dakota Wesleyan, 78-75. After a slow start Dordt took a five point lead at halftime and expanded the lead to 11 before Wesleyan came back to take the lead at 64-62 and never trailed again. Dordt College got to within two points late in the game on a Shawna Flikkema three-pointer, but were unable to execute a last second, length of the floor play to get the win.

Dordt was led by Amanda Eekhoff with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Katie Bleeker added 13 points and 5 rebounds for Dordt.

Dakota Wesleyan was led by Amy LeBrun with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals. Tacey Nielsen added 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals.
