(Mitchell, South Dakota) The Dordt Defenders found a tough opponent in the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers tonight, losing 87-56 at the Corn Palace. Dordt hung close early, but the Tigers eventually opened a fifteen-point halftime lead from which the Defenders could never recover.
Shawna Flikkema had 10 points to lead the way for the Defenders, who suffered from 20 turnovers in the game. Abbey DeWolf went 6-11 from three-point range to finish with 20 points for Dakota Wesleyan.
