Dordt College Women's Basketball vs. Dana

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Defenders ended a five-game losing streak with a 70-35 win over the Dana Vikings. Dordt jumped out to a 7-0 lead to open the game and went into halftime with a 37-15 edge. The Defenders held Dana to just 24 percent shooting from the field and forced the Vikings into 28 turnovers in the game.

Jill Bouma and Rachel Van Beek had 12 points apiece to lead the way tonight. Colleen De Groot and Rachel Schutte each had eight while Angie Katsma pulled down 11 rebounds.
