Dordt College Women's Basketball vs. Midland Lutheran

(Fremont, Nebraska) The Dordt Defenders picked up a second road conference victory today with a 61-50 win over Midland Lutheran. Dordt started out sluggish, but came back to take a slim halftime lead at 26-23. The Defenders took advantage of Midland's poor shooting night to get the win.
Tara De Boer had 13 points to lead the Defenders while Rachel Schutte chipped in 12. Colleen De Groot went 2-2 from three-point range to help jump-start the Defender offense, and ended with eight points. Rachel Van Beek had seven boards for the Defenders.
