(Orange City, Iowa) The Dordt College Lady Defenders turned away a determined Viterbo team at the Taco John's Classic in Orange City, Iowa Saturday afternoon. The Lady Defenders led by 13 at halftime, but saw their lead in the second half shrink to 53-51 with eight minutes left before turning in the 72-63 win for their fourth win in the last six outings.
Katie Bleeker had 16 points to lead the way for the Defenders. Jill Bouma recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.
