(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Morningside Lady Mustangs opened tonight's game with a 12-0 run before the Dordt Defenders got their first points midway through the first half. Morningside opened up another big lead before Dordt closed the gap to 12 points with two and a half minutes left in the period, but Dordt would get no closer as Morningside cruised to an 80-42 win.
Jenna O'Neill had 13 points off the bench to lead the Defenders in scoring. Colleen De Groot chipped in 11 points. Morningside's Kate Lokken recorded a double-double tonight with 23 points and 13 boards.
