(Yankton, South Dakota) The Dordt Defenders dropped to 0-2 in conference play with a 55-71 loss to Mount Marty tonight. The Defenders stayed within 13 points at half-time, but couldn't overcome a 28 percent shooting night from the floor. Rachel Schutte and Chelsea Gerdes had eight points apiece to lead the Defenders. Mandy Carlson had 20 points for the Lady Lancers of Mount Marty.
