(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defenders stuck around for most of the game tonight but had no answer for a 38-point effort by Southwest State's Michelle Bruns. Dordt held Soutwest to only 34 first-half points and trimmed Southwest's lead to two points on numerous occasions before falling by a final score of 69-48.
Katie Bleeker led the Defenders with 14 points. Jenna O'Neill added 11 and Colleen De Groot had 9 for the Defenders. Angie Katsma had 6 boards for Dordt.
