(Madison, South Dakota) The Dordt Defenders dropped to 1-1 on the season after a 74-46 loss to Dakota State this evening. Dordt kept it close in the first half and trailed only by six points at the break. The Lady T's held the Defenders to only 17 points on 6-35 shooting from the floor, including 1-10 from three-point range.
Chelsea Gerdes was the only Defender to break double digits in scoring tonight with 10 points. Jenna O'Neill and Colleen De Groot added seven points each. De Groot also had nine rebounds.
