(Orange City, Iowa) The Lady Defenders dug themselves a first-half hole tonight and never recovered, losing to Northwestern 84-74. After being down by as many as twenty points in the second half, Dordt made a late-game run at the Red Raiders, but it was too little too late for the Defenders. Katie Bleeker led the Defenders with 20 points, two blocks, and two steals. Northwestern had four starters in double figures tonight, led by Jaime Woudstra's 29 points.
