(Yankton, South Dakota) The Lady Defenders got off to a slow first half tonight en route to a 72-54 loss to Mount Marty. Dordt shot just 30 percent from the field and committed 13 turnovers in the first half, as they dug a 17-point halftime deficit they couldn't overcome. Jill Bouma and Jenna O'Neill scored 7 points apiece to lead the Defender scoring. Mandy Carlson had 17 points for the Lancers, and Tricia Lewison scored 15 points off the bench.
