Dordt College Women's Basketball vs. College of Saint Mary
November 19, 2002
(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defenders held on for a 81-75 non conference win over the College of Saint Mary Flames. Dordt held a 73-60 lead with just under five minutes remaining before the Flames made one last charge cutting the lead to one on back to back three pointers by Joselyn Mays. Dordt's Katie Bleeker answered with a short jumper and Rachel Schutte found the bottom of the net on a baseline jump shot to give Dordt a two possession lead. The win evened Dordt's record at 2-2 while the loss halted a four game winning streak by the Flames. Dordt was led by Jenna O'Neill with a game high 31 points on 12-22 shooting from the floor. Katie Bleeker reached a double double with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners while the Flames were paced by Erin Corrigan's 19 points and Chelsea Malone's 17 points off the bench.
