(Home) In Dr. Len Rhoda's last game as women's head basketball coach at Dordt College, the Lady Defenders were able to finish their season with a win over Martin Luther College of New Ulm, Minnesota. With a score of 80-66 Junior Serena Van Beek netted 23 points and ripped down eight rebounds. Alexis Smith added 12 points, while Rachel Schutte and Senior Heather Broekhuis each added ten. Despite turning the ball over 17 times, the Lady Defenders were able to shoot 82% from the free throw line and clinch the win this afternoon in Sioux Center.
