(Yankton, SD) The Dordt College women's basketball team lost heart-breaker to close out the 2000-2001 GPAC season tonight versus Mount Marty College. Junior Serena Van Beek led the Lady Defenders with 16 points while Freshman Alexis Smith added 11 points and ripped down 12 rebounds. Mount Marty was led by Emily Fletcher who netted 15 points. Dordt had 22 turnovers and 14 assists, while Mount Marty had 14 turnovers and 15 assists, also shooting 19 for 25 from the free throw line.
