(Home) The Dordt College Lady Defender's ran into a tough Doane College Lady Tiger squad this afternoon in Sioux Center. Dordt was led offensively by Serena Van Beek who netted 12 points while the Lady Tigers had three players in double figures, led by center Terri Wilbeck with 15 points. After trailing by 13 points at the half, the Lady Defenders could not gain enough momentum to get the edge in the game. Dordt shot only 48 percent out of 31 trips to the free throw line compared to the Tigers 80 percent in the contest.
