Dordt College Women's Basketball vs. Hastings

(Hastings, NE) Dordt's women gave the ninth ranked team in the country a run for their money today in Hastings, Nebraska. The Hastings Broncos defeated the Dordt women 75-72 in a game that was tied 29-29 at the half. Serena Van Beek netted six three-pointers in the contest, including four in a row in the second half. Van Beek ended up one three-pointer short of the school record of seven (which she set at Huron last season). Mary Stuehm led the Broncos with 21 points and nine rebounds. Emily Stucky also pulled in nine rebounds for Hastings. The Broncos are now 12-6, and 4-4 in the GPAC. Dordt's women are now 2-15, and 0-8 in the league.
