(Orange City, IA, Taco Johns/Subway Northwestern Classic) Dordt's women opened play today in the Northwestern College Taco Johns/Subway Holiday Classic in Orange City, Iowa. The Lady Defenders suffered a 20 point set back at the hands of George Fox University. Serena Van Beek led the offensive attack with 23 points for Dordt now 2-10. Alexis Smith pulled down six rebounds to pace a 22 rebound total by the team. George Fox is a NCAA Division III school out of Newberg, Oregon. Tabitha Greller, an Orange City native and MOC/Floyd Valley graduate, plays for the Bruins. The Lady Defenders have now lost eight in a row dating back to November 15.
