(Lincoln, NE) The Dordt College women's basketball team lost a close game tonight against Nebraska Wesleyan of Lincoln, Nebraska. The Lady Defenders were led by Alexis Smith, Krystal Smiens, and Heather Broekhuis who all netted 11 points each. Nebraska Wesleyan's leading scorer was Summer Allen with 19 points. Nebraska Wesleyan also shot 39 percent from the three-point arch to Dordt's fourteen percent. Alexis Smith also led Dordt with eight defensive and two offensive rebounds.
