(Home) The Dordt College lost their home opener of the 2000-01 season to a tough Dakota State team this evening in Sioux Center. After a tight first half Dakota State was up 30-27. In the second half the Trojans were able to spread the margain for a final over the Lady Defenders of 73-57. The Trojans were led by Kathy Shypulski who netted 27 points. Junior Serena Van Beek led Dordt with 20 points and eight rebounds in the losing effort.
