(Yankton, SD) Dordt's women played a tough game tonight in Yankton, South Dakota, as the Lady Defenders lost to Mount Marty 67-60. Carla Geleynse paced Dordt with 29 points, while Serena Van Beek and Kelli Holwerda added 12 points a piece. Holwerda was Dordt's leading rebounder with nine caroms in the contest. Emily Fletcher led the Lancers in scoring with 18 points. Katie Heine added 14, and Natasha Dawson contributed 13. Dawson led the Mount Marty rebounding attack with seven. Dordt did outrebound Mount Marty 39-29. Dordt slips to 2-2 in the SDIC, and Mount Marty improves to 3-1 in league play.
