Dordt College Women's Basketball vs. Puget Sound (WA)

Dordt College won the championship of the University of Puget Sound Holiday Classic in Tacoma, Washington, tonight. Dordt led by 26 twice in the game before closing out with a 17 point win. Puget Sound lost their first game of the season as they fell to 4-1. Dordt goes to 5-4 with the win. Carla Geleynse, Serena Van Beek, and Marlene Van Wingerden were named to the all-tournament team in Tacoma. The Loggers are a NCAA Division III school, and have qualified for the last three NAIA Division II National Tournaments. This is Puget Sound's first season as a NCAA Division III school.
