(Tacoma, WA, Puget Sound Tournament) The Lady Defenders evened their season record at 4-4, and opened their Pacific Northwest trip with an overtime win over Concordia (Oregon) 65-57. Today's win was in overtime at Tacoma, Washington, in the semi-finals of the Puget Sound Holiday Classic. Dordt will play next on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. (8:00 p.m. Iowa time) in the championship game of the Puget Sound Holiday Classic. Dordt was led by Carla Geleynse's 20 points today, while Serena Van Beek added 18 in the Lady Defender's fourth win of the season. Kelli Holwerda pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Dordt.
