Dordt College Women's Basketball vs. Central

(Home) The Dordt College women's basketball team recorded their first win of the season with a 72-53 win over Central tonight. Serena Van Beek led the offensive attack for Dordt with 28 points, 12 of them coming from the 3-point line. Van Beek tied a Dordt record with six three-pointers in one game. Van Beek now shares the record with Erica De Kam who hit six three's at Huron in Janurary of 1997. Heather Broekhuis had 14 points, shooting 100% from the field. Kelli Holwerda and Van Beek led the team in rebounds with 10 each. Allison Miedema recorded six assists on the game. The win improves Dordt to 1-1, while Central falls to 0-1.
