(Home) The Dordt College men's basketball team opened their Great Plains Athletic Conference schedule this evening in Sioux Center. The Defenders ran into a tough Mount Marty squad tonight in the loss with a score of 88-78. The Defenders were led offensively by Evan Beimers who netted 16 points. Mount Marty was led by David Gall who recorded 25 points in the win. The Lancers of Mount Marty shot almost 60 percent from the floor while the held the Defenders to 45 percent from the field.
