Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Dakota State

(Home) The Dordt College men's basketball team pulled in a victory in their 2000-01 home opener this evening in Sioux Center. The Defenders beat the Trojans of Dakota State University 78-72. Dordt was led by Sophomore Shawn De Stigter who netted 14 points, followed by Sophomore Ryan Dooyema with 12 points. Junior Eric Maas ripped down 11 rebounds in the victory. Dakota State was lead offensively by Adam Bobzein and Robbie Sylliaasen scoring 15 points each. Dordt improves to 3-0 on the season.
