Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Dakota State

(Madison, SD) The Dordt men's basketball team now holds second place alone in the SDIC standings with an exciting 74-73 win over Dakota State. Dylan Haak made the game winning 12-footer with six seconds left, as Scot Namanny's shot at the horn would not fall for the Trojans. Dordt trailed the Trojans 38-37 at the half, but outscored them by two points in the second half to clinch the win. Eric Maas led the Defenders offensively, recording 19 points. Neal Brenneman also reached double figures with 12 points. Dordt is 9-3 in the SDIC, good enough for sole possesion of second place, with Huron's (10-2) one point win over Sioux Falls (8-4) tonight 79-78. Dordt and Huron clash on Saturday, in Sioux Center, at 8:00 p.m. at De Witt Gymnasium. Sioux Falls is at Dakota State in Madison on Saturday night.
