Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Doane College

(Crete, NE) The Dordt College men's basketball team won a back and forth battle against Doane College edging the Tigers by a score of 69-66. With a tie at 66, Dordt's Evan Beimers got a steal and fed Shawn De Stigter to go ahead 68-66. De Stigter then hit one of two freethrows to go ahead 69-66 and seal the win. Dordt was led by Kyle Van Arendonk with 19 points, while Evan Beimers added 15 and Shawn De Stigter netted 11. Van Arendonk and Beimers led with six rebounds each. Doane was led by Brandon Wiese who netted all nineteen of his points in the second half and had six rebounds.
