(Rapid City, SD) The Dordt Defenders earned a season opening win with a 90-82 overtime win over the South Dakota Tech Hardrockers. The Defenders tied the game at the end of regulation when Shawn De Stigter hit an off balance three pointer to knot it at 77-77 with :02.8 left. In the overtime the Defenders limited the hosts to five points on the way to the win.
