In commenting on the game, Dordt Head Coach Ross Douma stated, "we played one of our better complete defensive games tonight and really refocused after doing some self inventory after Saturday's loss. We communicated well on defense and it was great to see us respond and implement what we worked so hard on in practice the last couple days. A lot of guys had really solid games tonight with Shawn Keizer have an outstanding night for us off the bench, particularly on the defensive end. We are very happy to see the hard work that Matt Vande Kamp has put in so far this season pay off tonight with some quality minutes with Tyler (Wolterstorff) out with an illness. Trevor (Wolterstorff) played with a lot of desire tonight and Jordan (Vogel) and Chris (Sievers) really demanded the ball in the post. All in all it was a great team effort."
