Eekhoff dished off a game high eight assists and had four steals while Justin Van Kooten dished six assist and Heidema had five.
“You get in a game like this and you want to be fair and get your regulars their work and some other players more of a chance to play. Hopefully we did that,” said Dordt coach Greg Van Soelen. “We thought after watching York last night we’d be able to go inside with Brett and hitting some three’s helped open things up as well. We have opportunities coming up by going on the road to Mount Marty and Nebraska Wesleyan in our next two games.”
York was led by Dashon Jones with 23 points and five rebounds while Jeremy Roman added 10 for the 0-15 Panthers.
Dordt is 10-4 and will travel to Mount Marty in Yankton, South Dakota on Saturday, January 3 for a 4:00 start in their next outing.
