Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Robert Morris-Springfield: Robert Morris Tournament

(Chicago, Illinois) The Dordt College Defender men's basketball team defeated the Robert Morris-Springfield Eagles in non-conference basketball in Loyola-Chicago Friday night.
The Defenders led by as many as eight points in the first half and held a four point advantage at halftime.
The Defenders scored the first nine points of the second half to go up by 13 at 45-32. The Eagles responded by cutting the margin and eventually took a 58-56 lead.
A Jim Brinks jumper gave Dordt the lead back at 59-58 and the Defenders never trailed again, making enough free throws to ice the win.
Dordt was topped by B.J. Haan's 19 points and Jim Brinks contributed 15 on 7-8 shooting from the floor. Luke Ruter also hit for double figures with 10. Derek Keizer had a line of seven points, two rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and eight steals while Josh Boyer came off the bench for four steals.
Springfield was led by Tim Hahn with 16 points and Shawn March added 15.
