Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Martin Luther

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Defenders jumped to a 9-0 lead on the way to a 50-19 halftime advantage and were never challenged in knocking off Martin Luther (Minnesota) in non-conference men's basketball Tuesday night at the De Witt Gym in Sioux Center.

The Defenders were paced by Luke Ruter's 20 points and 12 rebounds while Chad Huenink came off the bench to score 14 and grab six boards. Huenink, Ruter and Derek Keizer all had three assists as well while Keizer scored twelve and Scott Van Zanten had 10 points.

Martin Luther was led by Nathan Nass and Caleb Kurbis with 11 points each.
