(Sioux Falls, South Dakota) Dordt opened its 2004-2005 season with a win over Si Tanka Huron this afternoon 79-57 in the Sioux Falls Classic. Dordt took an early lead in the first half, extending it up to as much as an 18 point lead, but entered the half leading by 9, 42-33. Dordt started strong in the second half extended their lead to 17 on several occasions and was never really challenged throughout. Luke Ruter led Dordt this afternoon with 22 points, all in the second half. Brandon Haan chipped in with 12 points and 3 rebounds.
