Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Briar Cliff

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Briar Cliff Chargers won a dramatic 78-76 decision over Dordt College Saturday afternoon in the season finale for both teams.
Briar Cliff's Josh Alexander hit a three point shot from just inside halfcourt to win it as time expired. Dordt had taken a one point lead on a basket by Brandon Haan with :02.2 remaining off an assist from Bret Van Wyk. That bucket came after Martez Van Buren hit a three pointer that hung on the rim after bouncing around with :06 remaining.
The Defenders were led by Luke Ruter's 24 points, 20 of them came in the first half. Birar Cliff had five players in double figures in the win.
