Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Northwestern

(Orange City, Iowa) The Dordt Defenders couldn't answer Northwestern's three-point shooting attack tonight, falling 88-79. Dordt played even with the Red Raiders through the first half and went to the break tied at 37-all. Northwestern pulled away in the second half and was able to withstand a late Dordt run.
Dordt was led in scoring by Luke Ruter with 19 points. Brandon Haan and Bret Van Wyk had 14 and 13 points. Haan also pulled down eight boards. Corey Winterfeld had 18 points to lead Northwestern.
