Dordt College Men's Basketball vs. Doane

(Crete, Nebraska) The Dordt Defenders lost a heartbreaker tonight falling by two points to the Doane Tigers. Dordt held an eight-point lead at halftime, only to see that lead slip away behind Doane's three-point shooting. The Defenders tied the score at 75-all with under :20 left to play in the game. Doane's Bryshonne Bryant hit a fade-away jumper from the baseline with 4.4 seconds left in the game to give the Tigers the lead. Dordt then drove the length of the floor, but Luke Ruter's last-second jumper was just wide, giving Doane the win.

Kyle Van Arendonk had 18 points to lead the way for Dordt. Luke Ruter added 16 points and four assists, while Brandon Haan chipped in 14 points.
